We have recently invested in a new "state of the art" digital x-ray machine. It allows us to take very high quality images in a fraction of the time taken by our previous system which involved manual prcessing of the images. This ensures rapid diagnosis and as the images are displayed on a computer screen they can be manipulated to get the maximum information. If necessary the images can be sent via e-mail to a referral centre for immediate assessment.
